Noun biasanya merupakan subjek atau objek dari klausa. -Berdasarkan bentuknya, noun dibagi menjadi 2, yaitu: Concrete Noun Concrete noun adalah noun yang dapat diamati oleh panca indera. Sehingga sifatnya konkret atau merujuk pada suatu benda secara langsung seperti disinggung di muka. Contoh: Book, eraser, bottle, flower, chair, classroom, star, moon, fire, wind, … Abstract Noun Abstract noun adalah noun yang tidak diamati oleh panca indera. Dengan kata lain, noun ini bersifat abstrak atau berkonsep kebendaan saja.
